ROAD WORKS COLLABORATION
The lack of works coordination continues to be an area of concern to road authorities and the wider community, particularly when newly resurfaced roads are dug up and repaired with patches and trenched strips of pavement that often compromise the road asset integrity and become an eyesore until the roads are resurfaced again decades later. Too often we see these events in our local streets, with communities and businesses dismayed at the apparent lack of coordination.
The Streets Opening Coordination Council (SOCC) and PelicanCorp have joined forces to take local capital works coordination to a new level. This strategic initiative presents an unparalleled opportunity for road authorities and utility service asset owners to collaborate more efficiently using an improved road works coordination platform, iWORCS II, which can potentially save collaborating partners millions of dollars annually.
The IWORCS platform identifies opportunities and challenges from uploaded project data and automatically alerts the relevant project managers well before the commencement of construction.
Join us on Thursday 18th July at Wallsend Diggers (5 Tyrrell Street, Wallsend) for a face-to-face exclusive event on works coordination for road authorities and utility service providers in the Hunter Region.
Attendance is free but places are limited.
